May 2008: Mackenzy

Mackenzy has just ernaed her green belt this past February. She is a very focused, energetic, confident and strong youg lady who will make a wonderful black belt some day. Congrats to Mackenzy and a Happy Birthday as well! |
April 2008: Benjamin

Another student of the month has surfaced. His name is Benjamin. Benjamin is only eight years of age but looking at his technique he would give the older children a run for their money. We are very pleased to have you in the youth class. Keep up the good work Benjamin! |
March 2008: Nicholas
|
Our Student of the Month of March, 2008 is Nicholas. Nicholas holds a Blue Belt and attends Benoit's Advanced Youth classes on a regular basis. Nicholas, who turned 12 years in January of this year started his martial arts training in November, 2003. Don't let Nicholas' shyness fool you, as his ability and skills speak for themselves. Congratulations Nicholas! |
February 2008: Liam

The student for February is Liam. Liam has all the qualities of a great karateka. He works hard, is focused, and displays respect at all times. Liam is currently in our Novice Youth class working towards his yellow belt. Way to go Liam!. |
SOM Nominations
If you are a student in the Tigers, Dragons or Youth Class at Benoit's and know a student in your class that should be the next Student of the Month, then let us know by nominating him or her.
Your nomination will be treated seriously, when you provide:
- your name
- your class
- the name of the student you are nominating
- two characteristics that makes this student worthy
E-mail us your nomination.
The instructors ultimately select the Student of the Month. Your input however, will be helpful, as the instructors can't see everything all the time.
Due to the strict criteria for this award, some months won't have a Student of the Month.
