Dexter is the student of the month for December. Dexter is a green belt in the youth program who juggles karate and hockey. Someday he will teach us a kata on ice.

Samantha is the student of the month for November. Samantha has recently attended a promotional testing at the dojo and has earned her yellow belt. Samantha passed her testing with flying colors.

The student of the month is Joshua. Joshua began his training in January 2003. Joshua now holds the rank of blue belt. It is obvious Joshua has a goal for himself, to achieve his black belt. He works very hard and is cooperative with his fellow classmates.

September's S.O.M. is Neelothpal. He has been training just over a year with Benoits Martial Arts. He has so far earned the rank of orange belt with definite goals to achieve his green belt next. Neeolthpal loves hard work and more importantly loves to work hard.

Christian earned his green belt in May of this year and August he is the Student of the Month. Christian is an outstanding student who never wants to miss a karate class. He must be working hard because he has also been selected for the Benoit's Martial Arts Competitive Team. Christian has also been seen lending a helping hand with the younger karatekas. In his spare time he enjoys drawing car pictures and practicing his karate.

The Student of the month for July is Bradley. Bradley is an Orange Belt, in the Youth Program, that you see mostly in the summer months. You can't miss Bradley, he's big on greeting classmates and being polite. Bradley is big on practicing as soon as he's in the Dojo and he's big on working as hard as he can on his Karate. We hear that 's why he is also successful in the winter when he is playing hockey.

The Student of the month for June is Madison. Having just had her 8th birthday Madison has kicked it up a notch now joining the Youth Karate Program. Madison is a very hard worker and it definitely shows. However you may or may not recognize Madison because of her many hairdos - braids, ponytails, etc...

The Student Of the Month for May is Malcolm. Malcolm started Karate as a Dragon member. Now as a youth, he is still eager about training. It's hard to miss Malcolm in the class with his strong stances and techniques.

Alok began training in the martial arts when he was approximately 6 years old. Now in the advanced youth class, Alok has achieved his green belt and is working towards his blue belt. He has always taken his karate very seriously, so if you ever want to find Alok he’s in the dojo working on his katas. Alok is known for his powerful techniques that sometimes send his glasses flying off (now that’s power!). Alok's great attitude, superb attendance record and top-notch technique, made him an obvious Student of the Month. .

Naomi first started karate in the Dragon's karate program. Just recently however, Naomi has moved up to the Youth karate class. It was an adjustment for her being in with the big guys and girls but Naomi's positive attitude has helped her succeed in this transition. Naomi loves to work hard and is anxiously working towards her yellow belt.

Shannon has been training for approximately 2 years now. She was first introduced to karate through her younger brother Julian who is a former S.O.M. It must run in the family!

Shannon has an exceptional attitude in and out of the dojo. She enjoys helping others whenever she can. With Sensei’s Donna’s encouragement Shannon has also assisted in teaching warm-ups. Shannon is currently a green belt but eagerly working towards her blue belt.

The first Student Of The Month for January 2005 is David . David was promoted to a yellow belt back in November 2004. David is eagerly working towards his next karate belt.

David used to be very shy but it is definitely on his way to overcoming it. David is a hard and diligent worker. Congratulations!
